I recently had a talk with a good friend of mine who is just testing the waters with drawing, and it made me think about (in BNHA terms) my start-line. Krita had some trouble
Things went so fast the last few days for Krita that I couldn't even manage to update you.
I don't want to bug you with a very long text here so I try to keep it short.
Krita had some issues with Dutch tax authorities and they treat them as a company, so they had to pay VAT.
End of the story is that Krita Foundation got a bill of 24.000 Euro.

This news distributed very quickly and the Community started to donate money and within a Day the fund goal was already reached.
